Baby Names is provided by TC ADVANCED ANALITIQ SRL (“we”, “us”, or “our”), Sibiu, Romania. Our Privacy Policy explains how the app handles data.

Baby Names is free to download and use. It has no subscriptions, in-app purchases or third-party ads. We may change, improve or discontinue features at any time.

Suggestions are produced automatically from statistics and phonetic rules. They are meant to inspire, not to decide for you:

• popularity, trends, meanings, origins and name days are based on public sources and our own editorial lists, and can be incomplete or out of date;
• how a name sounds, and whether it may be unfortunate in some language, is estimated automatically and can be wrong;
• naming rules differ by country. Some countries restrict which names can be registered. Always check with the civil registry where the birth will be registered.

The final choice, and its consequences, are yours. We are not responsible for decisions made based on the app.

The app includes name data from official statistics offices and open datasets, used under their licences (public domain, Open Government Licence, Etalab 2.0, NLOD and Creative Commons Attribution 4.0), including Onomaverse (CC BY 4.0), INSEE, ONS, NRS, CSO, Statistics Canada, DIA New Zealand, Statistik Austria, BFS, SSB, SCB, Statistics Denmark, Statbel, INE, DVV, NSW, VIC and SA open data and the US Social Security Administration. The full list is available in the app under “Data sources”. These organisations do not endorse the app.

You may use the app for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, extract or resell the app's name database, reverse engineer the app beyond what the law allows, or use it to break any law.

The app, its design, code, texts and our editorial lists belong to TC ADVANCED ANALITIQ SRL. Third-party data remains subject to the licences listed above. Images you create with the share feature are yours to use as you like.

The app shows a card for Hushly, our own separate baby tracker app, and can open its page on the App Store or Google Play. Downloading and using Hushly is governed by its own terms and privacy policy.

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.

These terms are governed by Romanian law. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts in Romania, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
